CHAPTER TWO

BITTER TRUTH

Oh! Oh my God what happened? It seems it was a bad dream- i was waking off crumbled leaves and that was all I had in thought when I sighted Anna moved.

“How are you feeling?” She asked. I braced up myself in reality and I was convinced it was no dream. Uncle Sam was really dead. I saw no one else except Anna. This means the rest of the world was either missing or dead.

“Oh my God where the f**k am I?” I went deep into thought and I got flash backs of me flying 0ff with the winged guy. And yeah! I got knocked off.

“You two are awake.” The voice hit us and we both whirled around, our heart in our mouth and our legs ready to flee.

I stood on my feet and I pushed scared anna behind me. I looked out quickly for a wood and I caught a branch quickly. I kicked it up and I grabbed it, ready to point it against him.

“where are we? And who are you?” I shrieked. The courage came from nowhere and I screamed again.

“Who the hell are you guys?”

“My name is Simon I am an arch cipher.” His wings got spread out like he was about to fly and all I got was a whisper from Anna.

“He is an angel.” Anna whispered. I looked back and I saw her gaze locked on the guy’s wing. “Yes I am an angel.” The guy replied. I looked back, surprised. That was a whisper. How come he heard that.

“Did you just eavesdrop.”

“Yeah I did.” He stepped forward. “I am from Sheliyshiy shawmeh”

“What does that mean.” I blotted.

“It means third heaven. You don’t need all those information.” He replied. I could see he was bored with the questions and he wanted to move on. He turned around and I watched his wings folded up behind him. I watched his wings slide into his skin.

Then I screamed.

“Wait a minute I know they exist in some holy book. But… B..u..t” I stammered.

“We don’t have much time for questions.” He said, then he slimed seeing Anna had completely slipped out from where I had her hiding.

“Anna right.” He stretched out his hands and I blocked her path before she touched him.

“We don’t know you yet.” I said.

“What else do you want to know.”

“Every thing! Tell us everything.”

“Who killed his uncle.” Anna asked. I looked back and I let go of a shallow smile. She was at least concerned about me.

“Yeah! What happened to my uncle.” I asked.

“Killed!“Did you just eavesdrop.”

“Yeah I did.” He stepped forward. “I am from Sheliyshiy shawmeh”

“Yeah! What happened to my uncle.” I asked.

"Killed!" He replied sharply.

“Who killed them.” Anna asked again.

“You should have asked that first.” He replied. He held on to my arms and he pulled me further. “Let’s move.” He said. I stood firm and rigid, refusing to go anywhere with him.

“Ok…Fine.” He whisked.

“They are Lucifer’s followers they are also known as fallen angels and you …”

“That’s enough for now.” A feminine voice hit us from behind. We turned around and we saw a winged lady with a gleaming sword. She looked young and soon she charged against us.

“Get out the way.” Simeon yelled as he dived up with his wings spreading out. He pulled out a sword from now where and he zoomed across our head to counter the lady.
